Metamorphosis Monday

I changed all of the bulbs in my house a long time ago to energy saving bulbs. It has saved us a lot of money and I've never looked back. I've made some sacrifices though such as, the light bulb cover won't fit back over the new longer bulb. You can see the before plain and bla looking ceiling fan in my bedroom. I've been waiting for a long time for a frugal solution to come along. Last week at Goodwill it finally happened. For one dollar, ONE. DOLLAR. I was leaning toward a beachy white bedroom with blue and lavender accents, so this fit the bill pretty well. I'm really happy with the way it looks.

I just wanted to thank our wonderful hostess, Susan at Between Naps On The Porch for hosting Metamorphosis Monday. Be sure to click on the link and visit all of the very creative Metamorphosis Monday posts! :O)

  4. OH, my niece would love this! It's just what she's been talking about. Even the color was like you read her mind! (or maybe she read yours and got the desire!) LOL
