We had the neighbors over for a little informal barbecue. I forgot to take a picture of the food (naturally) but we kept it simple but good, chicken and corn on the cob and salad and a ton of home made iced tea. And we rented a movie. A very fun and frugal evening was had by all! It was better than if we'd gone out. :O)
This is a very pretty table setting! And I like your candle holder very much, and the glass stones strewn about the table is a very pretty touch!

How neighborly of you! And such a cheerful and colorful table to invite them to share!

I'm trying to do the same thing more.
ReplyDeleteYour table looks so pretty. I think one of the "up" sides of a bad economy is that we do tend to connect more with our friends and neighbors doing fun and inexpensive things! Thanks for a good idea !
ReplyDeleteWhat a great outdoor setting for a BBQ in the summer.

ReplyDeleteand I'm glad to find out that someone else forgets to take pictures of the food, too!
