This is my last official fall tablescape for this year. It's finally starting to cool off here in So. Cal. Time for soup weather and these are the bowls I like to use for soup and homemade turkey pot pies.
Very simplistic and frugal. The pilgrims had to make do with what they had, and were thankful to God for it.
Everything in this setting was either passed down to me or purchased at a yard sale or free from Freecycle.org, such as the pewter dishes.
I hope you all have a very blessed Thanksgiving!

What a pretty tablescape! I love especially the idea of the bowls stacked on the pedestal with the apples! And the napkins are beautiful!

All the best,

I love that you are frugal and can set a cozy table. Love the stacked bowls. My MIL had some just like them! Happy Thanksgiving to you!

What a pretty table, I love your bowls with the apples too, they look perfect for a fall table, and the soup bowls are wonderful. The name of your blog really caught my eye, my hubby would love it; he's a surfer and tries to get down to the beach as often as possible. We grew up by the beach, so he loves anything to do with the ocean.
