I finally got a white, pre-lit Christmas tree this year. I first one I saw at Target, was 199.99 on sale! No thanks, Target! Then what to my wondering eyes should appear? I came upon the same tree at Walmart for 35.00! Thank you Walmart! And thanks to Walmart and The 99 Cent Store, I was able to purchase quite a few glitter laden ornaments for a dollar each. I kinda think that Walmart gets that there's a recession going on. Anyhoo, I added my decorations that I've had forever and placed an old window frame which I painted a few years ago next to the tree.
Love the birds and WORDS!!!!! So pretty and meaningful!

Just lovely, so cheery and bright. Love the bargain you found and the Dollar Store rocks!
ReplyDeleteThe picture frame you painted is so sweet and is a perfect addition next to the tree. I love Christmas! There is something magical about the holidays that lifts us up, no matter what is going on in our lives.
Very beautiful. I love the white Christmas tree. Although my tree is green, I decorate it all in white...so they kinda look similar!
ReplyDeleteohhhhh my heart went pitter pat! I LOVE it love it love it!
ReplyDeleteLove the new white tree and your amazing decorations. Just beautiful! I'm getting my first white tree this year too, so your inspiration is appreciated.
ReplyDeleteI bought this same tree at Walmart last year & love it. I put it up in about 10 mins. yesterday & the best part is the lights are already on it, so you just plug it in! yay ...Then to fill in the branches I put pale pink & aqua tulle around the trunk of the tree so that when the lights are on, there's a pastel glow to the whole tree. I use pearl garlands, lots of pink, aqua & silver mercury glass ornaments as well as starfish with glitter. I've gotten so many compliments on my $35 tree!!! Sue
