Our olive tree in the front yard is starting to bear olives, so I added some to this table scape.
I added a topiary I found at GW for the centerpiece and picked some rosemary from one of our bushes to add even more greenery.
I really like these hand painted plates! All of the plates you see here where found at GW.
The glasses are a recent score from freecycle.
These are my faux limes from Walmart, they look kinda real, what you think?
This tea pot has a tea strainer already inside, attached to a chain, which is attached to the teapot charm on the outside of the knob on top of the lid. I bought it from Starbuck's back in the day when I was a less frugal person. I rarely even buy coffee there anymore. But I still love them and sometime's treat myself.

Very pretty! This setting has a nice calming feel to it, like you'd want to just hang out and enjoy it for a while!

I love your setting. I especially like the candles in the lantern with the lime display. Real olives? Awesome.
ReplyDeleteYour table is stunning and I agree, it does look like the one in Pottery Barn. Your chargers are one of my favorites, Love them. Your vignettes and displays are all so pretty and the idea of bringing in the olive branches is one I never thought of. What a great idea. Looks beautiful. Thanks so much for linking to TTT. Hugs, Marty

Hi There, I just became a follower...I think you might live near me...I’m in Long Beach...and its hot today, a good one to take the boogie board out...I’m pleased to see you just discovered jewelry making. Another good source of beads and stuff are garage sales where you can find amazing things. There is also a bead show that comes to Costa Mesa (Fairgrounds) You won’t believe the prices!!! cheap, cheap, cheap...for beautiful semi-precious stone beads! It was just last weekend...google “Gem Faire” for the next dates...enjoy the weather and the water...Cynthia
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful! Love the china! I didn't know small olive trees are available and grow here! How neat!
