Hi Everyone!
I hope you had a fun and safe Halloween! Now on to the next holiday.......
I always make a point of not skipping over Thanksgiving. It's important to give thanks for what we're blessed with and it prepares our hearts for Christmas.
So, this is my version of a Thanksgiving~ish table scape.
I inherited the green plates from my mom, I've used them for Christmas time and St. Patrick's too.
The wooden dough bowl in the centerpiece was my Grandmother's.
These cute little Pheasants came from Target last year and are actually Christmas ornamets. I bought them for 50% off after Christmas.
The leaves I gathered from a park and the apples in the centerpiece later became a pie!
I made these dream catchers myself, by following a tutorial on You-tube.

Your tablescape is stunning. I love the green transferware dishes. Everything looks so pretty. The addition of the element of nature to all of your white is stunning. Hugs, Marty

Love, love your table!! I have had a couple of those green plates on watch on ebay for over a year, and I just have never found more. Love them, and was thinking I needed green transferware to go with my turkey salad plates. I love the whole look!!

I LOVE your Thanksgiving tablescape. I can't wait to be with my family in Louisiana for the entire Thanksgiving week. There's so much to be thankful for, and that is including your feature on my Christmas Tree pillow!

Lovely table, like the green and gold and little splash of orange. I like it because it is light and airy. I like Thanksgiving, too, not so much pressure. Hmmm. should I tell you your cute little bird is a pheasant, not a quail?
ReplyDeleteThank you Pat! I have corrected the blooper. I know that they're pheasants and have no idea why I called them quails?!
ReplyDeleteSimply beautiful, Mary!
