I made these two nifty storage containers for my craft supplies from materials I would normally throw out.
I added some really great graphics from The Graphics Fairy.
I slipped off the handle from a large plastic ice cream bucket, to make it easier to work.
I used regular watered down school glue and some old book pages and sheet music to cover the buckets.
(Martha Stewart/Sea Glass) and stamps and stickers.
I've been saving my used spice containers to store beads in.
They now have a new home inside one of the buckets.
Here's a close up of The Graphic Fairy's graphics.
I used my fancy scissors to cut them out.
Did I mention that I love The Graphics Fairy?!
So fun to make something out of nothing for almost free, my favorite price!

ReplyDeleteHi Mary! Love the cute way you re-purposed the ice cream containers. They were just too good to throw away and you made them extra cute and beachy with your graphics. I made a boo-boo cropping my photo for today's party entry...that's why it looks weird..."why would she feature THAT part of the picture?"
ReplyDeleteSo cute, Mary...especially the picture of the child at the beach! Love the result! Thanks for hosting...hugs...Debbie

ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting another party. I really like the bead storage. I need to start saving my seasoning containers. It would help my jewelry making storage a lot.
