My Hubby made this swordfish years ago and last Summer I made it into a chalkboard to hang in our entryway.
The vintage glass beads are from my childhood Christmas decorations.
Just past the chalkboard and a little bit around a corner is my entryway/kitchen Christmas tree.
I had a roll of drywall tape, and for the life of me, I can't remember why I even have it, and used it for some tree ribbon.
All I did, was take a sharpie and free handed my saying and used a jingle bell stamp in between sentences.
I wrote "Our Savior is Born" and trimmed one edge with wavy scissors.
I also added my dried hydrangeas and set the tree in a metal bucket.
Very easy and simple.

Hi Mary, what a great idea for wire top jars - hang them by their wire with candles! Loved seeing your decorations. I started decorating early this year, it just seemed reasonable for some reason. Thanks for hosting. Have a great weekend.
