TV Area Reveal & Linky Party #167

Hi Everyone! Well, I'm finally done removing Old Rusty, moving furniture around, painting and reorganizing~phew!

Before: Here is where the TV was. Old Rusty was to the right and the book case to the left. This is an older picture, before we replaced our windows.

After: Here is the TV in it's new spot. It feels like it was meant to go here, and I wish I would have moved it long ago! I like the view of our backyard behind it and the corner location actually makes the TV sound better.

After moving the TV to the left, I moved the bookcase to the left where the TV used to be.
Of course this created a domino effect by leaving a huge amount of bare wall space where the bookcase was.
That's when I decided to makeover the dish cabinet from the garage and move it into the living room. I also added the turquoise side table I painted last year.

Keanu Reeves seems pleased with the new arrangement.

My husbands chair sits right next to the side table, but I moved the chair out of the way just for this post, so you could see everything.
I added a reading lamp, and now Charles has his comfy spot to relax.
This is my favorite Pottery Barn lamp shade, I love the beading on it!

I decorated the little side table with my daffodils from Trader Joe's, just $1.29 for a bouquet. I get some every year at this time and wanted to share a picture of them with you before they're gone.

Normally, this little table will be covered with TV remotes and Charles' various snack items and coffee cups~Just keepin' it real! The shadow box with the shells was a $5.00 steal from the swapmeet. Every piece of furniture in these pictures were free curb finds and painted with free recycled or free samples of paint.

You are really the queen when it comes to curb finds. I hesitate to think what would happen if I tried it, although I did find a cute flower pot once. Love what you have done.
