A Very Special Palm Sunday and Linky Party #221


Happy Palm Sunday Everyone! 
Palm Sunday and Easter are my favorite holidays. It's a time to commemorate the extreme love and sacrifice of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! 
I give my praise to a God who loves me and shows His love for me all of the time,  A God who knows the longings of my heart and never ceases to surprise me with His special blessings.

Why is this Palm Sunday so extra special?


We are picking her up on Palm Sunday and we are so excited!  We were approached by a placement worker from social services a few weeks ago and asked if we would like a new placement.  My husband and I and our current foster daughter talked it over and we all were really excited about the idea!  My husband and I are so proud of our daughter for wanting to share her room with her new sister. She already had bunk beds in her room and she agreed to move out certain pieces of furniture so that we could add a new closet from IKEA for her new sister.

I'm so proud of my husband for putting it together, he did a great job!  And he did it while caring for me last weekend when I was so sick, what a nice guy!  By the way, thank you all so much for the get well messages, they really meant a lot to me. I can't believe I forgot to put my link up last week!

Anyway, I'm so happy to share the wonderful news with all of you at last. That was a tough secret to keep!
