Salsa, hummus and even guacamole are the healthiest choices, but sometimes a girl likes to have her sour cream, ya know? Subbing with only yogurt never really fools us.
For this dip I used 24 oz of Greek yogurt, for thickness. And 8 oz of sour cream for well, flavor! You can use regular, low or non fat.
1/2 cup of pepperocini peppers.
1/2 cup of green olives with pimentos. I also used 1 tablespoon of the olive flavored vinegar from the jar, you could use regular vinegar or lemon juice.
I used my favorite seasoning blend and because the olives were so salty, I didn't add salt. The blend I used here contains: garlic, onion, black pepper, basil, oregano, thyme, rosemary, parsley, mustard, celery seed, and oil of lemon. You can add what ever your heart desires though!
Just throw the peppers and olives in your blender or processor........
blend finely or leave it chunky.
add the yogurt, sour cream, vinegar and spices, blend and that's it!
I refrigerated my dip for an hour to let the flavor come out more.
Add some diet sprite in a margarita glass with a plastic mermaid and you're all set.
