My Top Ten Fav Picks From MM #88

Hi There! How's your weekend going? Mine's been busy, busy, busy! I'm throwing a birthday party for a friend of mine tonight, so I'll be posting Masterpiece Monday on Sunday night this time.

Have you ever  had a guacamole facial?  I would never try it if I didn't have free avocados growing in my yard. But if you've purchased one of these pricey fruits and it's gone south before you've gotten to eat it, use it for your skin!
You don't have to be exact with your ingredients, because you're not using chemicals.
I used an over ripe avocado and banana, a left over packet of honey. The cucumber was going to go south soon, so I used it to put on my eyes during the facial.
There are tons of other recipes on the web.
I like to save cosmetic containers to reuse.  I put the facial in the fridge and it'll last about 1 or 2 days. When I use it, it'll be nice and cool. I'll leave it on for 20-30 minutes and force myself to relax.
I also started using olive oil for my skin and added about 12 drops of lavender oil to it and it smells great and feels great. I buy the gallon size olive oil from Smart and final to save money.

And now for the top ten! If you were featured this week, feel free to help yourself to a featured button from my sidebar.

Aloha and Mahalo for featuring my pillow! I'm very honored!
We have two avocado trees out back, one is dropping fruit now, the other will start in January, February. We've very popular around that time of the year.
So far I've baked Avocado bread, made Avocado soup and guacamole and have enjoyed an avocado facial. Fun, fun, fun!
