Hi Everyone!
I've been noticing a lot of Fall treats online that look soooo good! I'm trying to stay away from them though.
Usually for after dinner dessert, I've been making fruit smoothies and they've been a big hit at my house. Now that it's Fall, I've been craving some kind of pumpkin dessert. So I decided to try something healthier than pie, etc...and made a pumpkin smoothie. They were SO delicious!!!! YUMM! YUMM!!!! I linking this week to Foodie Friday @ Rattlebridge Farm
I certainly did not invent the pumpkin smoothie. There are a few different recipes for them out there.
Here is how I made mine:
One can of organic pumpkin, frozen in a plastic container
One banana, also frozen
Two scoops of whey protein powder~vanilla flavor
four packets of Splenda
1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg
2 cups of milk, I used whole
Blend it all up and enjoy!
