Welcome To The 150th Masterpiece Monday!

Here is my last Fall post for the year,
before I go all out Christmas on my blog!  I finally made some chalkboard chargers and a little chalkboard pumpkin, I've been putting off until now.

I love Thanksgiving and I don't like to skip over it.  I have so much to be thankful for, especially after watching the Philippines on the news recently.

I'm thankful for having the Lord in my life mostly and for all of Gods blessings, such as family and friends.....

A roof over my head, food and clean water.
I'm thankful for being able to blog and very thankful to you, my dear fellow bloggers for visiting my blog and sharing your wonderful comments and ideas.

I'm thankful for learning how to love and enjoy living a very simple life, being happy with what I have.

There is so much joy that comes from recreating and upcycling items in your home into something new.

Or shopping at yard sales, flea markets and thrift stores rather than the mall.
Decorating your home without going into debt, the beauty of frugality.

My hubby collects these Native American figures, from yard sales which I love to display this time of year.
I'm part Cherokee and I like celebrating that part of my heritage.  I handmade the vine wreath dream catchers a few years ago.  I also love the ones at Heaven's Walk, go visit her if you haven't yet, she has a lovely blog and beautiful dream catchers to drool over!

You may or may not know that my dining room isn't a dining room at all, it's in a big room with my living room.
So let's just mosey on over to the couch area shall we?
I just thought I'd share a few pics of Fall before I put it away.
I'm really happy about the inexpensive blue pumpkins I found this year. At first, the least expensive
store for them was Trader Joe's at $5.99 each. They also had white and at least a dozen other unique colors. But it was still more than I wanted to spend for one pumpkin!

I'm glad I happened to drive past a small, independent produce store, which was selling them for 25 cents a pound.  I purchased all 3 for 6 dollars. I'll be back next year for sure!
I belong to The Foster Care Auxiliary Thrift Store of Orange County, CA.  For 75 dollars per year, I'm allowed to shop once per month for free because we're a licensed foster home. That's where I get all of my Pottery Barn goodies, like the lantern on the coffee table, the mercury glass candle holder inside and even the blue candle too.
The burlap lamp shade and the picture frames are from there......and all of my pillow covers and pillow inserts and the quilted couch blanket and the jute area rug.  Also the mercury glass pumpkin and cake stand and the grain sack table runner on the buffet and the tan linen table cloth and the cloth napkins and glasses in the dining area.
They also have tons of things for my foster daughter like clothes and a lot of PB teen decor for her room. They also have family events that we take her to and lot's of programs and other services.  It's been a true blessing for us.
I printed out and framed some of The Graphic's Fairy's feather pictures and added a little glitter to the feather on the right to give it a little bling.  The votive holder is a vintage juice glass from a yard sale.

Your Thanksgiving stuff is awesome - with Thanksgiving so late this year, it really is a shame you/peeps want to put it away already. I keep mine up till Thanksgiving is over - I am not sure the family would understand differently! : - )

Thank you for hosting.

Great to see your Autumn and Thanksgiving decorations before you switch seasons. Its been a good gardening season in my area and I am grateful for the time to get my work done. Took photos with sunshine through the trees. Thank you for hosting Mary and have a great week.

Your home is looking beautiful for the season, I now have a mix of Tksgiving Fall decor and slowly making the transition to C'mas decor, wow, they're so different! Thank you for hosting lovely lady.
