Hi there!
My hubby and I found this curio cabinet at the curb with a "free" sign attached to it. It has been living in my garage to store extra dishware for the past few years. After Christmas, I decided to paint it and move it to the living room.
Before
My husbands amp usually floats around our living room and I was glad I thought of seeing if it fit inside the cabinet. I think it actually looks good in there and frees up some space.
After
I always use free, recycled paint or free paint samples on our walls and every piece of furniture I paint. For this project, I used free recycled Behr paint in white eggshell. I found four new knobs for the cabinet off of Freecycle. So the grand total for this makeover was completely free.
To decorate it, I simply shopped my home.
I did spend a couple of dollars on a new sea shell last weekend. We went the California Seashell Co. and found this shell with the Lord's Prayer carved into it! I love that store, it's very inspiring and they also sell small shells for crafting.
