Welcome to the 197th Masterpiece Monday!
Hello! This isn't a Fall craft, but there are plenty of great ones around blogland if you're looking for one! This project is good for anytime of the year, because it uses faux succulents.
I've had this extra wooden silverware tray for awhile, and I decided to re-purpose it into a vertical garden.
All you need are some artificial succulents, sheet moss (not shown) and Styrofoam.
Also a large knife and a hot glue gun.
All you do is very simply cut and glue the Styrofoam to the inside of the silverware tray, or just a box if that's what you're choosing to use. Hot glue the sheet moss over the top. poke holes with the tip of the knife where you want the plants to go. Apply a little hot glue to the plants before sticking them in.
You can attach some sort of picture hanging hardware to the back of your garden, or you can do what I did and use a soda can top and a thumb tack!
And there you have it, a no fuss, no water vertical garden!
