Welcome To The 64th Masterpiece Monday!

Some Lavender hanky-panky's goin' on here!

As you may or may not remember, I dried some lavender not long ago from my yard.
These too little guys have nothing to do with this post what so ever, but aren't they cute?
These were my Moms little Spring fairies and I just love them. They tried to pass themselves off as Leprechauns last year!
Anywhoo.....
I decided to pick off the little dried flowers and make sachets.
I toyed around with what type fabric to use, I wanted it to be something I already had.
Should I sew it, what shape? And then I remembered....
Sitting in my dresser since last year,
were all of these little cute hankies I found at a thrift store.

I love the detail on these.
It seemed a real shame to just let them sit, never to serve a purpose.

These are going to go into my dresser and linen closets.

These would make a nice gift or a Spring shower favor, no?

Here's the final "Sachet Bouquet".

Hi Mary, what a great idea to tie up your lavender in the beautiful hankies for sachets. I love the look, so frilly and pretty. I am going to try this with some keepsake hankies I have. I will tell my MIL about this project, something she would love to do I'm sure.
Have a great week and thanks so much for hosting.
