The olives on our tree start to grow larger in the Fall.

I found this set of olive plates at the thrift store. I just love 'em.

I cut some olive braches for a center piece, I love the frugality of it and how nice it looks.

I also found these brand new pillow covers, which are also Crate and Barrel, from the same thrift store. I moved them from the couch to cozy up the chairs.

I love the simplicity of this--it gives it such elegance! I have never seen an olive tree before. Your pillows are a fabulous find-love the one with buttons!

Oh LOVELY -- I have never seen olives on plates like this -- usually they are in more "garish" designs, meant for appetizer plates. I LIKE these olive plates a lot.
I can't believe y ou have real live olives growing. Amazing. What DO you do with them?

I agree, the olive branch from the yard is a perfect frugal touch with your great olive inspired plates. Love this setting. I like the idea of adding the pillows on the chairs to soften it up. Another blogger did that this week. Great idea! I'm going to remember that one. Thanks for sharing this tablescape. ~ Sarah

Love your table!! The olive branch is beautiful. Love the plates, love the pillows! :) Very simple and elegant! I wonder if my neighbor would care if I went over and cut a few of her olive branches? She probably wouldn't appreciate it! :)
