Vintage Spring Dishes

This week, I'm using some more family heirloom china.
I love the colorful floral bouquet in the center of these plates.

I added my lace tablecloth and the cute little shoes I found recently at GW.

Another fun find at GW was this white rose center piece.

I added a few other small touches, do you see the bird in the nest of moss?

And my sweet angel, I received as a wedding gift long ago.

You can see a close up post of my vignette in the background in my recent Table Top Tuesday post.

The smaller glasses are vintage Fostoria handed down to me.

Vintage Spring Tablescape

These dishes have been passed down in my family.

They always reminded me of Spring when I was growing up.
I think they're from the Victorian era.
A very lovely coffee pot, I love the cabbage and butterfly design.
No fancy candle needed for this setting.

The table cloth, is the same one we used every year for Easter brunch.

My Dollar Tree bird has made a nest out of the salad plate.

Dainty little cappocino cups and saucers.

Flea Market Plates

These lavender rimmed vintage plates are the ones I blogged about recently. I'm trying to learn how to bargain better at flea markets, and I bargained these down to six plates for a dollar. :O)

A Springy center piece with a wreath found at GW, My dollar tree bird votives and a thrifted lantern.

I really like the plate colors for Spring and they pair up well enough with my vintage green fireking plates.

And....

lot's of.......

warm glowy candles!

Think Green

I've been thinking of Spring...

and greenness....

relaxing scent of flowers.....

Maybe even a modern take on St. Patrick's decor?

Please pretend that I ironed the table cloth......

and that my plate isn't crooked, oh my, I took my new "relax" sign too literally!
