Patriotic Banner

First I layed newspaper on the patio table. Then I just took out my craft paints and painted what I wanted in a kind of rustic fashion.

After I let it dry overnight, I took out stamps and stickers and ribbon.
Finally, I hot glued everything to some twine and hung it up.

I tied some fabric scraps in between the burlap pieces and on the ends to add spacing and more color and movement.

This was so super easy! I could see using this type of idea for other banners, like a birthday banner, fun!

Your pictures are great, by the way. All of the nautical and beach pictures remind me of summers on the beaches in New England!
