Hi Everyone! I just wanted to say hello to my new follows, welcome! And thank you to my regular followers who've been with me for awhile, I really appreciate you and it always surprises me when someone follows my little blog. :O)
Anywho, although it's been cold and cloudy here and teeny bit drizzly, I still managed to find a yard sale. Where there's a will, there's a way. I usually do not buy vases, because I already have too many like most people. But I fell in love with this one. And it was only 50 cents!
And on the way home I spied a very tall white cosmos bush, pulled out roots and all. It couldn't be replanted, but the flowers were beautiful and I took pity on it sitting at the curb, going to waste. So, I took it home.
I trimmed the flowers off when I got home and they looked perfect in my "new" vase. I think I'm definitely going grow some of these next Spring. They're like daisies, but they come with the green feathery leaves that act as it's own filler.
I grew fuchsia cosmos last Spring and Summer, but these look great with my indoor neutral decor. I love looking at this, it's amusing how a simple yard sale vase and some free flowers can be so satisfying. Sometimes it's just the simple things in life that bring happiness and I love when that happens! :O)
