Welcome To The 172nd Masterpiece Monday and Happy Easter!

Hi Everyone! I hope you're enjoying your Easter vacation or in my case, Easter stay-cation!
My husband and daughter get the week off, but I'm busy at work this time of year, with the increase of  Easter vacation kids at the gym where I work.
And I've been busy working on projects around the house and in the garden, which I'll be posting soon.

The project I'm sharing with you this week was inspired by the scripture printed on the front of my church bulletin.  I've wanted to make this scripture into a sign for some time now.
To make this, all I did was:
1. First I found this sign at a thrift store. I flipped it over to use the back. I painted it grey.
2. I enlarged the scripture on my copier and printed it on the light mode to save ink. I used white tracing paper underneath and stabilized everything with painters tape.
3. After tracing, I filled in everything with sharpened chalk.  I didn't use chalkboard paint and I didn't season the paint with chalk, because I'm not erasing the scripture.

Have a blessed Easter Everyone!

I never learn how to decorate, but I think I have the idea how to appreciate such a beautiful design! I’m having fun being here, I’m truly attracted by the beauty of mirrors.

Love the sign you made and the scripture, and like the added Coastlands. Very cool.
Also those rinaculas are exquistite...........not sure I spelled it correctly tho. Are they faux or real??
Whatever they are they are perfect in that spot.........lovely.
Blessings, Nellie
