The Ice Museum at The OC Fair

After waiting outside in the hot sun for an hour to get into the Fair, we were only more than happy to visit the ice museum....

This is the first year I've ever seen this here. After entering, we politely declined the parka they offer you to wear, and walked blissfully into the frozen air. And wow, the sculptures were beautiful!

The walls were completely covered ice bricks too, like an igloo. And they played classical music. It was kind of dreamy.
Whoever made these is really talented, to say the least. I didn't want to leave.

Apparently, we arrived at the right time, because when we came out, the line to get in was very long. A lot of hot fair goers were really ready for the ice museum!

I think it is amazing that they can get so much detail out of a block of ice. I would expect it to crack.
