Tablescape Thursday And A Giveaway!

Hello Everyone! just a reminder about my giveaway, click here to enter!

Well, here is this weeks Summer inspired table.......
very nautical,
Geometrical,
Lot's of crisp whites and blues.

In case you missed it, click here for a tutorial on how to make these nautical rope balls, called "Monkey's Fist".
These little cobalt blue vintage dishes were my mom's.

I used a polyester shower curtain as my table cloth, heehee!
Here is my statue couple looking quite summery and relaxed.

The vintage wooden table legs behind my statue couple were rescued from the trash at the swap-meet at closing time. Vender's sometimes just throw things away instead of packing up.

Come to think of it, my statue couple was also a trash find.....

I'm so happy that they came to live with me. :O)
The chalkboard I made from a Dollar Tree wooden plaque and I also hot glued cork board on the back of it.
This is the vintage wooden pulley I've blogged about before, that I found at the curb, I still can't believe someone would throw this away?!

Such a calm and relaxing tablescape. I love it. I have used a shower curtain before on a tablescape. I now look for them and regular curtains at thrift stores. They can be much cheeper then tablecloths.

Hugs,
Joanne

I like the idea of a shower curtain for the tablecloth. It reminds me of a sunfish sail! Very pretty! Linda

Wood pulleys are impossible to find these days so your curb find was a great find. Your table looks so crisp and clean. I have used bed sheets for tablecloths but never thought of using a shower curtain before. I have seen so many pretty ones when I have been at GW so now I think I will pick up a few.

This would be great on my porch. Is it coincidence that the napkins repeat the square of the plate? Square is my new favorite shape.

What a great idea! A shower curtain as table cloth. You might also attach some shells from the grommets. That would look great.
