Setting up my table scape at the fair.....

It feels kind of funny driving into the fairgrounds, because this is where everyone is walking around during the fair. You drive past where the venders are setting up the concession stands and see the rides being put together.

Here is the big new building they built last year for some of the exhibits, including the table scape's.

This is what you see right when you enter, it's not done yet, but it's so cute and creative.

They told us that this truck used to be parked inside Disneyland by the jungle Boat ride.

Here is my assistant!

You can't see the New Moon poster at all. I tried at various angles, but had to give up. I'll take some night time pictures of it after the fair opens.
This is a 36" table, so I really had to scrunch things together.

I'm sorry about the fuzzy pictures, I'll take more though when I go back,

Including all of the other table scape's to share with you.
I don't think I'll win anything this year, but most importantly, it was a lot of fun! If you would like to see my at home test table of this, it's in the previous post. :O)

I think the table looks great, so creative. Love how you did the placecard handpainted on the rock.

It looks awesome, seriously! You did a great job with your assistant. You both should be patting each other on the back! Wishing you good luck on winning.

Take care, Sue

It looks like a great dinner for two. I remember the truck vaguely. They sold drinks and stuff from it. Now they have a whole tent.

I had no idea that there were tablescapes done at the fair! I love your chargers. I look forward to seeing more pictures from all the other tablescapes too.

I can't wait to see the rest of the pictures. Our county fair does not have a tablescape competition, but our state fair does! I have never participated, but the rule say you must bring a card table set for four and your menu, too. The top 4/5 tables are on display in a glass walled room for the whole fair. They are awesome! I would love to enter sometime. Good luck!

Oh Wow, that looks awesome. Here in Cincinnati we have Cincinnati Flower Show. It's the only flower show in the U.S. sanctioned by the Royal Horticultural Society and it has a whole tent for Tablescapes. Yours would fit right in!
