In case you're new to my blog, this my beloved metal fire place that I call "Old Rusty".
I decided to spruce up Old Rusty for Easter.
For these eggs, I just used cheapo plastic eggs from the dollar store.
I covered them with book pages and glossy modpodge and let them dry.
Then I cut some cute butterfly, flower and bird pictures from paper napkins.
I attached the napkin pieces with more modpodge and sealed them with a top coat as well.
I found some adorable little note cards with butterflies, which I also cut out and added as a 3D affect...
and I also slipped some note cards into this picture frame/caddy.
I stuffed the caddy part with my favorite shredded sheet music.
Next to Old Rusty, I added some baby chicks in a nest to the bird cage that usually sits there.
I also have a collection of Audubon bird pictures from tag sales.
So, I added some chicken wire to the back of my window frame and displayed some blue birds and blue jays.
The gladiolas were from Trader Joe's. I love the lime green one's!
I just wanted to say thank you for the nice comments on my last post and welcome to my new followers. You are all such a lovely group of bloggers. And now for the top picks!
