Tablescape Thursday

The dishes I used today were handed down to me from my grandmother. They're vintage green Fire King. I like to use the vintage white table cloth a lot, It's the one that my mom used for special occasions. The faux sea grass I found at Goodwill for 99 cents x 4, as well as the the clear cylinder vase for $1.99. The little pink ceramic vintage shell dish I also found at Goodwill for 25 cents! I'm using it here as a salt cellar with a vintage ivory spoon that belonged to my grandmother. The cute little sand castle was purchased for me by my husband at a yard sale, I just love it!

Love the fireking. It works beautifully with the beach theme. What a great gift to have inherited.

Mary, what a beautiful table! I love how you mixed the vintage Fire King with the more contemporary white plate...that's right up my alley. You can't beat that green!

I loved your green Fire Green dishes. Your starfish is eye catching! The whole table pulls together just great!

I used to have the Fire King plates you used for your chargers! I should ransack the attic to see if I can find them! I love the green dishes, too. Wish I would have thought to collect them back in the day. Great job!
