My Top Ten Fav Picks from Masterpiece Monday #21

Every Tuesday, my husband and I have a lunch date. This week, we decided to head down to the Huntington Beach pier and eat at B.J.'s Pizza.
And afterwards we took a stroll down main street toward the beach.
A statue of Duke Kahanamoku outside out Huntington Surf and Sport
Crossing Pacific Coast Highway "PCH" to the pier with Duke's in the background.
Duke's restaurant, named after the famous surfer, Duke Kahanamoku
One of Duke's surfboards hangs in the restaurant.
Can't tell by this shot, but the restaurant over looks the ocean.

They have a display case in the lobby full of surf and Hawaiian memorabilia.

See the Summerfest sign? My church puts this on every year at the beach. It's a huge concert and outreach. I'm going to try to make it down here and snap some photos.

This is the restaurant directly under Duke's at beach level. it has a great view of everything!

And now for the top ten!

I hope you have a great Memorial weekend!

Oh the memories your post brought back for me! I spent 3 wonderful years going to Biola University in La Mirada, and every Saturday we would head to Huntington Beach. Can't wait to return and show my kids around my old stomping grounds! You are so blessed to live by the beach! jules
