My Top Ten Fav Picks from Masterpiece Monday #24

   And a very special reveal..................

Our oldest foster son, Anthony is now emancipated from the foster care system and he's 18, so I'm going to be able to post pictures of him on my blog! Yay! I'm so excited to finally be able to do that! It's illegal here to post pictures of foster children on the Internet because of privacy issues. Until now I wasn't even able type his name or anything about him. It's really hard not to be able to do that. Even when I posted his birthday party, I could only show pictures of his friends. As some of you may already know, my husband and were unable to have children, so this will be my first proud mom post.

Here is the world's greatest foster dad! (He taught Anthony a lot about the guitar and Anthony plays exceptionally well.) We're waiting here outside of Huntington Beach High School football field to get a good seat. We sat in the front row right in front of the stage and were able to save seats for Anthony's family.

Here is Anthony with his back facing us next to the flag. He's getting his name announced.

I don't know this person, but I just had to take this picture. I don't think I could have found adequate words to describe this. But he turned out to be a very nice man who asked the people next to him to close their huge blue umbrella so that we could be able to see better. Which helped remind me not to judge others.

Here is Anthony walking off stage to get his congratulatory handshake, We were all cheering our heads off.

When did the little boy who first came into our lives, turn into this grown man?

Our wonderful Anthony, we love him and we're so proud of him!

He's very smart, handsome and has a great sense of humor. He will go far.

Anthony with his friend Alex. Alex's family are the one's who go all out decorating for Halloween and their house always ends up making it into the newspaper. They do a different theme each year. Click HERE to see a mosaic of the year they made the Michael Jackson Tribute.

Anthony with his mom and sister, Damie. His grandparents and aunt were also there. He has a really great family who is proud of him and loves him very much. I won't go into their personal story, because I respect their privacy. They have been there for Anthony constantly while he's lived with us. Please don't judge, because they're all really great, especially his mom.

A very happy moment!

Congratulations, to your son. When my boys graduate high school, it was more exciting than when I had graduated. It's more emotional, I use to say when my boys breathed, I breathed. God bless.
Thanks also for featuring me today,
Lisa
