Frugal,Healthy, Easy and Simple

My recipes that I post on my blog aren't so much recipes as they are ideas for food that have my 4 favorite qualities, frugal, healthy, fast and simple to prepare. Who has time to make breakfast? Breakfast is tricky to fit into the 4 categories, but it's a very important meal so it's worth trying. This one's already made for you! All you have to do is scoop it into a bowl, or commuter mug (I don't eat while driving) I have fruit and yogurt (plain non-fat, mixed with splenda) every morning for breakfast. One of my favorite toppings is sectioned oranges with marmalade. I do this ahead of time and store in the fridge. I section the oranges, about 2 or 3, the same way you would section a grapefruit: cut the peel off making sure you cut off all of the bitter, white pith and then cut the sections out from between the inside skins. Add 2-3 T. of marmalade, that's it. Other times, I'll top my yogurt with canned crushed pineapple or mix the pineapple with the orange mixture. Berries and red grapes are my favorite yogurt topping when the price is right. :O)
