Welcome To The 30th Masterpiece Monday!

Hi! How's your Summer so Far? I've been very busy with some furniture painting projects and my masterpiece this week is my old dining table that's been sitting around in the garage. I painted it white and re-purposed it into my new crafting table!

The metal chair was a curb find and has been sitting in the garden for years. Now it's my crafting chair.

My table top has my dad's tackle box and some more of my Maui shell collection. I can now keep my sewing machine out and handy, instead of in the hall closet. And I no longer have to sew out in the living room!

The upper shelf unit was in my bedroom and held a flat screen tv. We bought this piece at a rummage sale for $5.

Here is the "keepin' it real" before picture of the shelf. Charles had to remove the center shelf so that the tv would fit inside. The shelf grooves and hasty  paint job didn't show once the tv was in and we had dvd's stacked on either side. 

 I decided to use some cork board I got for free off of Freecycle.org. I knew it would come in handy some day. This was super easy and took no time at all.

I decorated it with vintage family photos and tissue flowers I made out of an old pattern.

I'm using my milk glass collection to hold some supplies.

This is my mom and dad's 1960's radio we always took camping and to the beach. :O)

Next time, I'll reveal a little storage display area to the left of the craft table.
