How to Create a Simple Loop with Wire

Hi Everyone!
Recently, I've become addicted to interested in making wire jewelry. (I know, like I need another hobby!) I've been collecting supplies from Michael's, using a coupon and buying on sale, Walmart, Big Lot's, and The 99 Cent Store. At that last store, I purchased their regular finished pieces to disassemble and remake. Sometimes, when you mix the 99 Cent Store and YouTube.com, magic happens. Honest.

I've found a ton of how-to video's on YouTube.com to learn how to make wire jewelry. I'm especially fond of "Blue Moon Beads" video tutorials, they make it super easy to learn. Me and "super easy" get along really well. I can't believe that I'm just now discovering this, it's so fun!

I'll be attending a celebration for a friends daughter in a week and decided to make her a wire beaded chain necklace. I first secretly found out that her favorite color is green and just went from there.
I started out with a pair of earrings and long chain and beaded pendant necklace from the 99 Cent Store. I used my round nose pliers to remove the pink beads and pendant and attach one of the earring faces as the new pendant.
I used some 22 gauge wire, round nose pliers, green beads and light green pearls,
a few clear beads and some brass butterflies, dove and peace sign.
I was smiling the whole time I was making this!
I hope my friends daughter likes it.
I'm also making a few things for myself......
And a bunch of pieces to stash in my gift closet.
Mostly bracelets and earrings. It's never too soon to start thinking about Christmas, right?

Below is one of the tutorials I learned with on YouTube.com, you can learn how to do just about anything on there! Maybe this will inspire you to make some of your own pieces? Take care, Mary :O)
